CIS Returns

Verification | CIS Submission | CIS Rebates | Annual CIS Statements

CIS can be a minefield. From verifying, calculation of deductions, to submitting the return to HMRC. Put it simply – if you operate within the construction sector, then chances are you are either being deducted CIS tax on your sales invoices, or need to deduct CIS tax from your subbies, sometimes both!

CIS returns are a monthly declaration to HMRC on the number of sub-contractors, made up of gross payments to include labour and materials, with the appropriate CIS tax deducted – this can be anything from 0%, 20% or 30%.

If you have suffered CIS deductions, generally you can claim this back via your self-assessment or in some cases, offset against other taxes like PAYE or corporation tax.

We help our clients not only with the monthly submissions, but verifying, producing CIS statements and reclaiming any CIS tax suffered.
